I'd love to say I had years at a University taking all art classes or living in Italy learning from Masters. Nope. ( never say never though) I went to 3 out of 4 years at Interior Design school and realized the few art classes was what stirred more passion. Plus the cliché 'I have been artistic since I was a child' line. Leaving the rest up to being in the right place at the right time. Then at 43 having my son I needed to switch gears and my floorcloth gig was created. 14 years later I am still grateful for what I do and where I am. How great is that!
My medium of practicality is acrylic. I find it works best with the canvas but I've been known to use pencil and charcoal to get the effect desired too. My latest piece has gold leaf on it. Fingers crossed!

I love I still draw from my past up until 20 minutes ago. Art is everywhere.
